Short speculative documentary of a future company fermenting chestnut cheese with human temperature .
This documentary film is published in 2100. It present a chestnut company from Japan to Netherlands. In this film, the third generation of the family talked through the history of the company: They introduced this "grain on tree" and adapt it into Dutch people's life, by developing new recipe (chestnut cheese), holding annual ritual to build deep into cultural aspect. This annual ritual "Sattvic Cheese" is an event held under the first chestnut tree they plant in NL. With the special costume, participant ferments ‘cheese’, aiming to fit into traditional context of Dutch diet. with body temperature. It is aimed to emphasise the reconnection between people and nature, visible and invisible (microbes). There is nobility in our consumption. Our body is a garden. What you eat form the environment inside and outside.
